How it works:
- Your company fills out an INTEREST FORM.
- Someone from our team will reach out to gather more information about what topics your group would like to focus on.
- Based on the information gathered, IBRL will draft a rough agenda and cost proposal for your Custom Course.
- Once the proposal is accepted, we will work with you to finalize dates and the agenda.
Content:
We work with you to develop tailored curriculum that suits your team’s needs. Topics can range from lab techniques, specific fermentation types, and downstream process equipment to operational safety, scale up considerations, and more.
Length of course & size:
Based on your needs, courses can range from a half day to two weeks. Due to limited space, group sizes cannot exceed 20.
Cost:
Because each course is customized to each company’s needs, the cost of each course varies. To get a quote, please submit an INTEREST FORM.
Location:
All Custom Courses are held at the Integrated Bioprocess Research Laboratory on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, located at 1300 W. Pennsylvania Ave. Urbana, IL 61801. At this time, we are unable to do these courses at other facilities.
